Running Again
Today was the first time I ran since Saturday. My knee just felt a tiny bit sore afterward. I felt a little bit out of shape, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. I ran three miles in 26:55.09. So I averaged 8:58 min miles. I was expecting to go slower, so I was pretty happy with how I did today. I made sure to stretch my IT band very well before and after. Still feeling a little sore, I hope I am able to run 8 miles come Saturday.

I love reading your blog. It is very inspiring to me. I was just wondering where you got your training schedule? How do you know what to run on which days?

ReplyDeleteI have a friend out here who's training for a marathon and she is using techniques she learned from the book "Running With Chi" to help her on her longer runs. She swears by the techniques and has even blogged about her time improvements and how much better she feels afterward when she uses the techniques. Maybe if you have time, you could check it out. You're doing great, though, keep it up!!
